Neptune's Trident is an object featured in the Disney Junior animated series, Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It is an ancient trident belonging to King Neptune. It has the power to make large bodies of water with a single blast.
Background[]
Sometime before the event of the series the mermaids use to visit Mount Mer-suvias when the mountain was underwater. But some unknown event caused the lake of Mount Mer-suvias to dry up preventing the mermaids from returning to uncover one of their most prized treasure Neptune's Trident. Luckily for the mermaids the trident is protected by magic only allowing mermaids the power to touch Neptune's Trident.
Powers and Abilities[]
Neptune's Trident can only be wielded by a mermaid, and if any other being touched the trident, it will give them a shock as Captain Hook learned the hard way. Since Izzy was bestowed the title of honorary mermaid, she can safety wield the power of the trident.
Role in the series[]
Neptune's Trident first appeared in the episode "Izzy's Trident Treasure". Marina and Stormy found the Map to Neptune's Trident and recruited the aid of Jake and his crew due to the trident is located on top of Mount Mer-suvias, an underwater mountain in the middle of a dried lake. Only mermaids can touch the Trident, and since Izzy was an honorary mermaid, she was able to touch the trident.
Neptune's Trident makes a brief appearance in the episode special "The Great Never Sea Conquest". It can be seen as a emblem on a cup alongside Captain Colossus's Sword.

Neptune's Trident as the emblem on the Pirate Pieces of King Neptune as it appears in "Jake's Buccaneer Blast."
Although Neptune's Trident doesn't make a physical appearance, one of the magical Pirate Pieces of Eight is named after King Neptune and features a trident as the emblem in the episode "Stormy Seas." While Jake and his crew are sailing through a stormy Never Sea to the next pirate piece of eight located at Trident Rock. Captain Hook and Mr. Smee are on their trail for the pirate piece as well.
