Izzy's Hipster Twister Hoop is one of Izzy's favorite treasures featured in the Disney Junior series, Jake and the Never Land Pirates. It is a special hula hoop that lights up when it spins.
Role in the series[]
The Hipster Twister Hoop first appeared in the episode "Never Say Never!". It was found by Skully in a bush on Pirate Island. Izzy, overjoyed, began to teach Jake and Cubby how to play with it. Captain Hook spots the young pirates playing with the Hipster Twister Hoop, he decides to steal the hoop to replace his broken steering wheel for the Jolly Roger. He sent the Never Bird to steal it for him, but instead of stealing it, she takes it to her nest in Never Land. Captain Hook and Jake's crew set out to find her. Jake and his crew found her in her nest on Never Peak Mountain. Izzy made a hoop out of vines to trade for her hoop. The Never Bird, overjoyed, happily traded and the crew returned to Pirate Island to play with the hoop.
The Hipster Twister Hoop makes a brief reappearance in the episode "Save the Coral Cove!". Marina comes to Jake and his crew for an emergency: Captain Hook is threatening to dig up and destroy Coral Cove, the home of Sandy the Starfish and the other Never Sea creatures, with his treasure-digging machine in search of the "Treasure With Eight Arms". With Marina leading the way, Jake and his crew witness Hook's handy work first hand. Jake pleads with Hook to give up his treasure hunt, but the greedy captain refuses. As the young pirates try to pass three mischievous Never Dolphins blocking Jake and his crew path, using the Hipster Twister Hoop, Jake manages to distract the dolphins.
The Hipster Twister Hoop makes a minor cameo in the episode "Pirate Putt-Putt!" where it was among the various toys in Jake and his crew's treasure room as they set out to go play Pirate Putt-Putt on Never Land.

The Hipster Twister Hoop makes a brief appearance in the episode "Dancing with Pirates". Jake explains to the viewers that pirates have a lot of tasks to do. As Jake looks through his spyglass, he spots the Never Bird carrying the Hipster Twister Hoop as she flies to Never Ever Peak Mountain.
