Jake and the Never Land Pirates: Battle for the Book/Trivia

• The episode was written by Mark Seidenberg and Brian Swenlin, marking the first in the series to be written by two writers.
• The storyboard was by Carin-Ane Anderson, Kirk Hanson, Bob Foster, Kelly James, and Stark Howell.
• While George Darling does not make an appearance, he is referenced by Captain Hook: when Hook enters the Darling family nursery, he stumbles on the toy wagon and knocks down the toy blocks before falling over in a similar fashion to George in the original film.
  • Captain Hook entering the Darling family's nursery through the window also references how he enters the window in the 2002 Peter Pan sequel, Return to Never Land.
• Wendy, John, Michael, and Nana make their first appearance in the series.
• This is the first time Jake and his crew go to London
• This marks the fourth appearance of Peter Pan in the series.

  • The Policeman seems to know about Wendy's stories, claiming to read the adventure of Peter Pan to his own children. Though it is considered a major plot-hole, since Wendy, John and Michael were the only people to visit the island in the original Peter Pan film.
• This marks Tinker Bell's second appearance in the series since the episode special "Jake's Never Land Rescue".

• Nana journeying to Never Land alongside the Darling siblings is a reference to a early concept to the original Disney animated film of Peter Pan.
• The special marks Jadon Sand's debut as the voice of Cubby in the main series after voicing the character in the spin-off Jake's Buccaneer Blast.
• The Sea Witch is briefly mentioned by Captain Hook as he orders his crew to search her lair for any treasure.
  • The episode marks the third appearance of the Sea Witch's Lair since the episode "Season of the Sea Witch" and "Misty's Magical Mix-Up!".
• The only way Jake and his team go to London is opposite when going to Never Land: London is the second star to the left, and straight on 'til nighttime, while Never Land is the second star to the right, and straight on 'til morning.
