The Key to Skull Rock is a key given to Jake and his crew by Peter Pan. The key is said to unlock a hidden door on Skull Rock.
Role in the series
The Key to Skull Rock first appeared in the episode "The Key to Skull Rock", Jake and his crew receive a message and the skeleton key from Peter Pan while on Pirate Island beach. The young pirates set sail to discover the mystery at the top of Skull Rock unknown to the young pirates they were being spied on by Captain Hook and Mr. Smee. Hook manage to steal the key from the puny pirates and gain a lead to Skull Rock while sailing through Blue Whale Way when a few whales block Bucky's path. While trying to keep his lead to Skull Rock Hook accidentally sails through the wrong Never Sea Twin Tunnel and get both his vessel the Jolly Roger stuck in the tunnel but drops the skeleton key while fleeing from Tick-Tock the Crocodile who creeps aboard the Jolly Roger forcing Hook and Smee to abandon ship with the crocodile in pursuit.Allow Jake and his crew recovered it with Skully's help. The crew opened Skull Rock with the key and discover inside there was a observatory for star gazing. While looking threw the telescope Jake and his crew saw a star formation in the shape of Peter Pan.
